FRAMINGHAM – The MetroWest Nonprofit Director is advertising for its second-ever director, after Anna Cross announced last month she was stepping down.

“The MetroWest Nonprofit Network (MWNN) Executive Director has the unique role of connecting and collaborating with innovative leaders and change makers across multiple service areas. From food security to ecological education to mental health, MWNN and its leadership work to build a more equitable society that is economically, politically, socially and racially just,” noted the press release.

The Network is a small, nimble organization with a big impact.

The next Executive Director will bring:

  • Passion for and familiarity with the nonprofit sector, particularly small nonprofits
  • An aptitude for designing and executing relevant and responsive programming
  • Interpersonal and strategic skills to nurture mutually beneficial relationships with current and new partners, sponsors and donors
  • Ability to utilize tools (ex: QuickBooks, Google Drive) to effectively manage the organization
  • Commitment to lead MWNN by prioritizing diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in all aspects of decision making.
  • Willingness and ability to partner and maintain open communication with the MWNN Board of Directors to achieve organizational goals
  • Passion for and commitment to promoting MWNN with donors and funding sources

As the only full-time staff member, the Executive Director is responsible for managing the programmatic, administrative, fundraising and community relations functions of the organization.

The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and supervises one part time support staff and several contracted service providers.

With no current physical office, but with frequent in-person community engagements, this is a remote-first position that requires physical presence in the MetroWest community.

Compensation is $65,000 with a flexible schedule and paid time off.
