FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High girls indoor track 4X400 relay team set a school record today and finished third in the New England Indoor Championship meet at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.

“After a line up tweek, the Flyers lead off with senior Joanna Ball, 2nd leg freshman Sasha Lamakina, third leg junior Ella Terranova, then finally to junior Abby Desmarias,” said head coach Ed Crowley.

“The team went in seeded 5th and came out with a 3rd place finish in the event, obliterating their already set school record. Lowering their time and punching their ticket to the championship division at nationals to 4:01.59,” said Coach Crowley.

“We now turn the corner on our final lap of the indoor season next week at the track at New Balance indoor nationals next weekend,” said Coach Crowley
