WAYLAND – Alexander Torrales, age 50, died peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2023, in Boston with his family by his side.

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, son of Maria M. Ramos-Rivera and the late Benjamin Torrales-Zabala.

Alex was the loving husband of Margarita Cruz-Sepulveda. They had been married for 20 years and together raised their cherished daughters Alexandra Torrales and Sara Torrales.

Alex was known for his generosity and a caring nature. He also put the needs of others before those of his own.  A true friend, Alex touched the lives of many and will remain in the hearts of all who loved him. 

He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends, some of his favorite dishes of rice and beans and steak and onions were shared while watching a good baseball game.

In addition to his wife, daughters and his mother, Alex is survived by his beloved sisters Karla Cruz and Sugeil Calderon and brothers Benjamin Torrales, William Torrales and Reynaldo Torrales. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 2-6 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Ave.) Framingham.
