HUDSON –  The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing the closure as of this hour of two northbound travel lanes of I-495 in Hudson in order to conduct bridge repair operations. 

The announcement was made at 11 a.m. on March 3

The work is being done at the I-495 northbound bridge that carries traffic over River Road.

During the bridge repair work, the two northbound travel lanes will be closed for the next several hours until the repairs are completed. 

Drivers who are traveling through this area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. 

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
