3. Hours after Senate President Karen Spilka called for Michael Hugo to step down as the chair of the Framingham Democratic Party, Hugo announced last night he has resigned

Hugo who made controversial and “harmful” comments about individuals with disabilities at the February 7 City Council meeting and in a 4-page letter on Framingham Democratic Committee letterhead said he was speaking for the entire Committee.

Today is world birth defects day.
