3. Hours after Senate President Karen Spilka called for Michael Hugo to step down as the chair of the Framingham Democratic Party, Hugo announced last night he has resigned

Hugo who made controversial and “harmful” comments about individuals with disabilities at the February 7 City Council meeting and in a 4-page letter on Framingham Democratic Committee letterhead said he was speaking for the entire Committee.

Today is world birth defects day.

  • March 3 is recognized annually as World Birth Defects Day.

4. Framingham High School will compete in the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild’s (METG) Drama Festival starting Saturday, March 4 at Sharon High School.

Tonight, March 3, there is a benefit performance at Framingham High at 7 p.m. of Machinal by Sophie Treadwell. Tickets will be sold at the door.
