1 The Framingham High girls ice hockey team will compete in the MIAA Division 2 tournament starting tonight. The Flyers travel to Milton for a game against the Wildcats at 7 p.m. The Flyers are the 20th seed in the post-season tourney.

2. Framingham Public Library events:

  • As today is an early release for Framingham Public School middle school students, the Christa McAuliffe Library is hosting a movie & popcorn from noon to 3 p.m.
  • The beginning book reader club meets at the main Framingham Library at 5 p.m. Story this month for K-2 students is March 2: Frog and Toad are Friends by: Arnold Lobel

3. CITY of FRAMINGHAM meetings (virtual unless otherwise noted):

  • Framingham Planning Board meets tonight at 7.

4. The Framingham High Asian Student Association is holding a multicultural event tonight at Framingham High from 5 to 8 p.m. The event features food, music, & dancing.

5. Jeff’s Place is one of the selected charities involved in Team Framingham and the organization along with its runners are hosting a fundraiser tonight at BJ’s Tavern in Framingham from 6 to 8 p.m. Runners include Adrienne Bogusky, Julie Gelardi, Stuart Hurowitz, Anna Rouse and Yuri Tovar.

Plan to eat in or take out on March 2, all funds raised will help Jeff’s Place continue to offer FREE support services to our families.  As each runner trains and prepares for the Marathon, they are also committed to raising funds for their chosen charity.
