FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Public Library will hold two seed packaging parties for its seed lending library this month.

“Help us make seed packages on Friday, March 3rd, 11 a.m. at the Main Library, Children’s Program Room or on Tuesday, March 7th, 7 p.m. at the McAuliffe Branch, Craft Room,” said the Framingham Public Library

The two events are in-person. You can attend one or both events.

The Seed Libraries are a joint project of the Framingham Public Library and Transition Framingham.

The mission is to empower local residents to preserve the art of growing their own food through the lending, sharing, and saving of seeds.

There are three Seed Libraries — one at the Main Library, one at the Christa McAuliffe Branch and one on the Bookmobile.
