SUDBURY – Due to the impending snowstorm tonight and tomorrow, all public buildings, except the Fire Department, Police Department and the Department of Public Works, will be closed tomorrow and staff will be working from home.

This means all in-person programs and services of the Sudbury Senior Center will be cancelled tomorrow.

The Tuesday “Operas of Verdi” class will be offered on Zoom as scheduled.

The Boston Landmarks Orchestra – Music and Memory Concert – scheduled for Feb. 28 – is cancelled and will be rescheduled to a future date. Information will be communicated to those who were registered for the program.

Please be as prepared as possible for the storm, ensure you have food, batteries, a charged mobile phone, medications, etc. Check that you have all your important phone numbers available, and plan to stay inside tomorrow and off the roads. Remember that heavy snow may cause power outages.

You can reach the Sudbury Senior Center staff by leaving a voice mail or by email. Of course, if you have an Emergency, please call 9-1-1.

Should there be a need to activate the Town’s Emergency Shelter, a notice will be sent out to those on the Emergency Notifications list.
