BOSTON – Framingham High junior Abby Desmarais finished third in the 55-meter event, at the meet of champions this weekend at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.

It was a photo finish for the top three spots in the dash.

Pembroke junior Sarah Claflin won the event in 7.12 seconds.

Concord-Carlisle sophomore Julienne Warner took second place in 7.12 seconds.

Flyer Desmarais was third in 7.13 seconds. This ties her personal best, said Coach Collins.

She qualified for the New England Championships next Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Center, said Collins.

The meet record is held by Brooke-Lynn Williams set in February of 2016 at 6.91 seconds.

The Meet of Champions is the MIAA’s new name for the all-star meet.
