NATICK – The Town of Natick is seeking applicants for the position of Animal Control Officer.

This position has varied responsibilities, including dealing with domestic and wild animals; enforcement of state and local laws relating to the care, safety and wellbeing of animals; keeping and maintaining concise and accurate records dealing with members of the public; interacting with town employees in providing service to residents; attendance at meetings and trainings as necessary; and other duties at the direction of the Chief of Police.

Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, valid MA License.

Preference given to those with ACO certification and/or prior experience.  

This full time position is classified as Grade 1 of the Personnel Board.

The starting salary will range from $48,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
