FRAMINGHAM – Barbara ‘Lory’ Farley (Fagan), age 90, of Framingham and formerly of Sun City Arizona, passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 2, 2023.

Born in California, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Kathleen (Wineteer) Fagan.

Lory joined the United States Air Force where she met her husband, Charles “Chuck” Farley.  They moved to Framingham where she was a medical secretary at Framingham Union Hospital for many years.  She enjoyed sewing for her grandkids and playing cards with her friends.

She later retired to Arizona where she was very active in the Wednesday Wonders Quilters Group, loved walking with her mall friends, and enjoyed dinners with her Friday night friends.

She moved back to Hopkinton in 2019 to be closer with her family.  She loved her furry friends and continued to take walks.

Lory suffered with Alzheimer’s and loved looking at picture albums filled with photos and memories of family and friends.

Lory is survived her children, Jim Farley and his wife Lisa of Hopkinton, her daughter Linda Farley of Framingham.  Four grandchildren, Jennifer Lewis of Framingham, Taylor Farley and his wife Joanne of Bellingham, Kayla Farley of Hopkinton, Brady Farley, and his fiancé Emily Dunenfeld of New Jersey. Two great grandchildren, Bridget, and Lily of Framingham.

Lory aka Grams will be truly missed and remembered forever.

At Lory’s request there will be no funeral services. Her care has been entrusted to the Norton Funeral Home in Framingham.
