FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police Lt. Martin Keith has retired, announced the department today.

Lt. Keith worked with the Shrewsbury Police Department before joining the Framingham Police in 1998.

He was promoted to Sergeant in 2008 and to Lieutenant in 2017, and served with the Framingham Police Department for more than 20 years.

Throughout his tenure Lt. Keith received a variety of awards including the Meritorious Service Award, the Police Commendation Award and the Chief’s Unit Award. He also served as a member of the Police Department Honor Guard and Bike Unit, said the department on social media.

“We would like to thank Lieutenant Keith for his 21 years of military service to this country. We wish Marty all the best for a well-deserved retirement,”announced the department.
