ASHLAND – Margaret Mary (Crehan) Strain, 92 passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023, after a period of declining health. 

Born in Lowell and raised in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Dowd) Crehan and wife of the late Paul Strain who died in 2001. 

A resident of Ashland, for 60 years, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Leonard Morse Hospital retiring in 1992. 

She resided in Sunrise, Florida, for the last 2 years. 

Margaret is survived by three children; Paul Strain Jr of Framingham, Daniel Strain of Worcester, and Margo White and her husband Skip of Sunrise, FL, and one brother in law, Thomas Strain of Southampton, MA.

Services are private.
