ASHLAND – Margaret M. “Peg” (Emerito) Schulz died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 5, 2023, after a lengthy illness.

She was 85. Peg (lovingly called Marge by her close family) leaves two daughters, Elizabeth McDonald and her husband, Patrick, of Holliston, and Jennifer Cushman of East Longmeadow; as well as three granddaughters: Olivia, Ella, and Lilah Cushman also of East Longmeadow.

She leaves her devoted partner, Edward Ridolfi of Ashland.

She is survived by one brother of Danbury, CT; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Peg had a fulfilling 50 year-long career as a registered nurse in the operating room at Massachusetts General Hospital, before retiring in 2004.

Following her retirement, she split her time between Florida and Newburyport.

She loved to travel, and enjoyed many adventures with Ed. A private celebration of life will be held in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association at act.alz.org
