NATICK – It was a battle between Bay State Conference rival earlier this afternoon, January 16, as Framingham High co-ed gymnastics travelled to Natick.

The Flyers defeated the Redhawks 139.7 to 135.75

Framingham is now 2-0 overall.

Senior captain Kevin Theodoro captured first place in the vault with a 9.3.

He took first place in the floor with a 9.6, and finished second in the balance beam at 9.5.

Olivia Lane tied with her Flyer teammate for first in the vault with a 9.3.

She finished first on the bars with an 8.45. She was second in the floor, and third on the beam with a 9.2.

Lane captured the all-around title too.

Maggie Spring finished first in the balance beam with. score of 9.6

Next up for the Flyers is another road meet on January 20 against the Rockets of Needham High.
