FRAMINGHAM – Governor Maura Healey and Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll made their first visit to the City of Framingham since taking over the leadership of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts today, January 11.
The Governor and Lt. Governor first visited the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) HQ on Route 9 in Framingham for a winter and emergency preparedness briefing .
Then, Gov. healey and Lt. Gov. Driscoll visited Framingham Department of Public Works HQ on Western Avenue. Mayor Charlie Sisitsky and First Lady Robin Kaye greeted the Governor & Lt. Governor, who attended the event along with Senate President Karen Spilka, and other state and local officials.
Outside DPW HQ, Gov. Healey and Lt. Gov. Healey took a photo with City Council Vice Chair Janet Leombruno and School Committee Chair and new State Representative Priscila Sousa.
Leombruno and Sousa are the highest ranking women in the City of Framingham.
