FRAMINGHAM – The Keefe Tech hockey team beat Assabet Valley 6-0 on Sunday night at Northstar Ice in Westborough.
The shutout was the second win in a row for the co-ed junior varsity ice hockey Broncos. The team is now 3-2 overall.
“Goaltending has been a strength for us all year, and we are lucky to have three really good net minders,” said Coach Mike Clark. “Junior Casey Horrigan started in net. She has been great all year. Sophomore Huy Burnham and freshman John Hedderman both came in and each played extremely well. It was such a confidence builder for our entire team when you have strong goaltending.”
Chris Anastos, Zeke Bogosian, Austin Dobson, John Martell (2), and Eli Schachter all scored for Keefe Tech.

Chris Anastos, Reid Campbell (2), Matt Day (2), Zach Lysaght, and Cooper Serocki registered assists.
“I’m really happy to see so many players contributing, whether they end up on the score sheet or not. It has been a solid group effort and we expect that to continue,” said Coach Clark.
Keefe Tech faces off against Hopedale Sunday, January 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Westborough.
“Hopedale will be a tough test for our team, so we need to move on from this win and get back to work this week. Our team is looking forward to the challenge. The support from our alumni, students and the community has been outstanding – we’ll do our best to bring home another victory this weekend,” said Coach Clark.
