FRAMINGHAM – Vincent J. Stuart, 90, a longtime resident of Framingham died Saturday, December 31, 2022 after a period of declining health.

Born in Boston to Irish immigrants, Vincent & Gertrude (Hartney) Stuart, he was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen (Hennessy) Stuart.

In the 1950’s Vincent served his country proudly with the US Navy during the Korean War as a Seabee. After being honorably discharged, he enjoyed a long career as an Elevator Engineer, and was very proud of his master electrician licenses.

Vincent was an avid Boston sports fan, and especially loved attending Red Sox games. He was often seen out on his beloved and meticulously kept lawn. A devout catholic, he was a parishioner at St. George Parish in Framingham, where he taught CCD for many years.

Vincent enjoyed a beautiful, full life raising his children in Framingham. He relished in socializing and attending celebrations with neighbors and friends. Nothing made him smile more than being the doting grandfather of 6, and cheering them on in sporting events and special occasions.

Vincent is survived by his son, Vincent Stuart and his wife Jennifer of Framingham, his daughter, Beth Domolky and her husband Erik of Southborough. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Kimberly and Sarah Stuart of Framingham, Ava, Joseph, Bryn and Shea Domolky of Southborough. Besides his parents and beloved wife of 57 years Mary Ellen, Vincent was predeceased by his sisters, Marguerite Stuart and Virginia Stuart LeBlanc.

Family and friends will honor and remember Vincent’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Sunday, January 8th from 2-5PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning in St. George Church, 74 School St. Saxonville at 10 o’clock. Interment will take place at a later date.
