FRAMINGHAM – Elvira “Vera” Antonio, 94, a lifelong resident of Framingham died Saturday, November 26, 2022 after a period of declining health.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Albino & Laurinda (Brito) Antonio.

Vera was raised and educated in Framingham, and worked with her sister for many years in the warehouse of Zayres which later became TJX

. She loved to cook, and in her later years enjoyed arts and crafts.

Elvira loved her family and spending time with her large extended family.  She is survived by her sister, Balmira “Pal” Ferracamo and her husband Anthony “Hank” of Framingham, her brother, Arthur Antonio of Whitinsville, her sister-in-law, Julie Antonio and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Aurelio, Anthony, Ablino, Joseph, and James Antonio.

Family and friends will honor and remember Elvira’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Thursday, December 1st, from 9-10:30 a.m.  

Her Funeral Mass will follow in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St. Framingham at 11 o’clock.

Interment in St. Tarcisius Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Vera’s name to the charity of your choice.
