NATICK – It was all Natick on Thanksgiving.

Natick junior Teddy Ferrucci ran for two touchdowns in the first half to give the Redhawks a 14-0 lead and it was all the team needed in a 49-13 victory over rival Framingham High.

Natick had a 35-6 lead at halftime.

Natick with the win finished the season with a winning record of 6-5.

Framingham ends the season, under-first year head coach Dave Wright at 1-9.

Wright is the third head coach in as many seasons.

Framingham was hopeful for a win after Natick turned the ball over on their first possession, but the first half was all Natick except for one lone touchdown by Flyer #11.

Earlier in the first half started Framingham quarterback Matheus Silva, trying to recover a bad snap, injured his shoulder and was out for the rest of the game.

Framingham added a second touchdown in the final quarter, but then the game was already lost.

Natick with the victory leads the series 80-33-5.

Today, November 24, was the 118th meeting between Framingham High and Natick High, although during some of those years it was Natick High vs Framingham South High School.

The Elks Trophy remains with Natick High for another year.

Framingham High last won in 2018 at Fenway Park.
