FRAMINGHAM — One thousand runners and walkers are expected to participate in the 27th Annual Turkey Classic 5K road race on Thanksgiving morning, November 24.

The race starts and ends at the Memorial Building.

Start time is 8 a.m..

It is expected to be sunny and somewhat warm – 48 degrees, although at 8 a.m. it will be hovering around freezing

Today, hundreds of runners and walkers can picked up their bib number, a t-shirt, and a Talk Talk pie at the Framingham Elks until 5 p.m.

Registration for the race has closed. There is NO same day registration.

The Turkey Classic organized by the Framingham Firefighters and the Framingham Police Officers, raises funds for Veterans Outreach Center-Metrowest and other local charities.
