FRAMINGHAM   – Joan Alice Garbarino, lifelong resident of Framingham, passed away peacefully on Nov. 19, 2022.

She was born on June 27, 1932, daughter of the late Francis L. Garbarino and Charlotte M. (Hollander) Garbarino, sister to Louise Gleason, Doris Frisco and Ann Micelotti.

She was a 1950 graduate of Framingham High School and attended Katherine Gibbs.

She started her career working for Dennison Manufacturing and then moved onto working as a marketing representative for WKOX. For 40 years she worked as an office manager for Dr. David Anghinetti.

While Joan never married, she lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. Her nephews and nieces meant more to her than words can describe.

  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday Nov. 30, 2022 at  10 a.m. at St. Bridget’s Church, 830 Worcester Road, Route 9 East in Framingham.

Urn burial will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Framingham. 

There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital (www.stjude.org).  Boyle Bros. Funeral Home of Framingham assisted with arrangements. Kindly visit Boylebrothers.com for memorial page.
