BOSTON – Mother nature will deliver the first snowflakes of the season tonight into Wednesday.

Rain and snow mixture is forecasted for tonight, becoming all rain after 3 a.m. according to the national Weather Service (NOAA).

Chance of precipitation is 90%, but the new snow accumulation forecasted is less than one inch.

On Wednesday, the forecast calls for rain before noon, with a high of 48 degrees.

So what ever snow there is will be gone soon.

Northeast wind 8 to 11 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.
