MILFORD – William J. Sullivan, 95, of Milford died on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late John & Eileen (Cawley), and the beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Powers) Sullivan.

William served his country proudly in the Navy during WWII.

His love of music shown bright.  He was trained as an opera singer at the Boston Conservatory of Music and performed in the Boston Opera Company.

William worked as a salesman for most of his life. 

He was a long time member and Past Exulted Ruler of the Framingham Elks.

He is survived by his children, William & his wife Kimberly of Beverly, Barry of Beverly, Amy of Beverly, and Robert & his wife Sarah of South Lake Tahoe, CA, his grandchildren, Riley and Reese Sullivan, and his sister Barbara Coleman of Greenwich, CT. Besides his wife, William was predeceased by his sisters, Jackie Jordan and Lillian Lanci, as well as his long time companion, Elizabeth LeBlanc.

Family and friends will honor and remember William’s life by gathering for a brief time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Saturday morning, November 19 from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.

His funeral mass will follow in St. Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Road in Framingham at 10 o’clock.  

Interment will take place in Massachusetts National Cemetery at a later date.
