FRAMINGHAM – Pearl Street Cupboard & Café (PSCC), a direct service of the United Way of Tri-County is once again offering those in need a turkey and bags full of groceries for an entire Thanksgiving meal this November.

With costs increasing across the board for food, home heating fuel, electricity, and gas, family budgets are being tested like never before.

For the thousands of individuals and families who seek assistance at the United Way’s Pearl Streets food pantry and hot meal program, knowing they can count on PSCC to provide their families with a holiday turkey and all the fixings is a blessing.

“Many of our clients work, but still cannot afford food to feed their families,” said Joe Mina, Director at the Pearl Street Cupboard & Café.” “It’s an incredible feeling knowing we can be here to provide essentials like meat, dairy, and fresh produce to help out struggling families. We are supported by a very generous community. Individuals, small businesses, and corporations who understand the importance of what we do, and we are so grateful for their support.”

Turkeys and Thanksgiving groceries will be distributed on Tuesday, November 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pearl Street Cupboard & Café.

The holiday food distribution is for registered individuals and families of the food pantry. New registrations are being accepted through November 21by visiting PSCC at 46 Park Street in Framingham, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
