WORCESTER – Worcester Police announced its Neighborhood Response Team conducted a narcotic investigation on Oread Street yesterday, November 2, and arrested a Framingham man on weapons and drug charges.

During the investigation, 36-year-old Thiago Teixeira was arrested after selling crack cocaine., said Worcester Police.

Inside Teixeria’s vehicle officers found a loaded stolen large capacity firearm, said Worcester Police.

The Worcester Police Department then proceeded to obtain a search warrant for the residence at 14 Oread Street.

During the search of the apartment police seized 94.1 grams of cocaine, a sandwich bag filled with fentanyl, more than $15,921 cash, liquid Methadone, multiple Suboxone strips, paperwork and packaging material, said Worcester Police.

Thiago Teixeira, 36, of 46 Walnut Street, Framingham, was charged with receiving stolen property over $1,200, possession of a large capacity firearm, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of a large capacity feeding devise, distribution of class b substance, possession to distribute class b substance, trafficking in class b substance 37-99 grams x2, possession of class a substance x2, and possession of class b substance x3.

Worcester Police did not issue a booking photo.
