FRAMINGHAM – David Edward Lamore, 77, of Framingham passed away Monday , October 31, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. 

Son of Edward and Gertrude (Healy) Lamore; he was the husband of Irene (Lemieux) Lamore for 41 years. 

David was a graduate of Walpole High School class of 1964.  He then graduated from Northeastern University, College of Pharmacy class of 1970. 

David served his country honorably in the Army from 1970-72. 

He then began his career as a pharmacist at Newton Wellesley Hospital where he worked for 20 years. He would later work as an assistant case manager for the Deptartment of Mental Health for over 20 years. 

David was an avid movie buff, enjoyed fishing, and cherished spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, David Lamore Jr, Jeffrey Lamore and his fiancé Diana of Framingham, and Cassandra Lamore of Natick, grandson, Devin Lamore, two sisters, Robert Muse and her husband James of FL, and Maryanne Zambrano and her husband Serge of TX, and his brother, Richard Lamore and his wife Diane of WA.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 5, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday from noon to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in David’s name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741
