FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High girls swim & dive team finished fifth at the Bay State Conference meet.

The Flyers scored 164 points. Natick finished sixth with 133 points. Wellesley won the meet with 618 points.

Framingham finished 7th in the medley relay in 2:01.11 minutes. Swimmers were Emma Angelo, Amy DiPasquale, Ashwina Bangari, and Marie Scanlon.

Framingham junior Bangari finished fourth overall in the backstroke in 1:03.49 minutes.

A trio of Framingham swimmers earned points in the 200-yard freestyle.

Junior Emma Bowen finished 13th in 2:12.94 minutes. Sophomore Sasha Tsizer finished 14th in 2:15.37 minutes and senior Katya Connell was 16th in 2:21.47 minutes.

Wellesley sophomore Alexandra Loo won the spring event in 25.54 seconds. Framingham senior Emma Angelo was 9th in 26.95 seconds. Framingham sophomore Marie Scanlon was 10th overall in 27.26 seconds.

Framingham divers Kat Barry and Emily Richardson earned points for the Flyers. Barry finished 11th overall with 178.05 points. Richardson finished 13th overall with 175.85 points.

Senior Angelo finished 16th in the 100-yard freestyle for Framingham. Her time was 1:00.10 minutes.

Needham swept the 500-yard freestyle, taking the first three places.

Sophomore Tsizer finished 9th overall in 5:54.30 minutes for Framingham.

Junior Emma Bowen finished 14th in 6:04.38 minutes

Framingham senior Meaghan May finished 19th in the distance event in 6:24.4 minutes.

Framingham finished 9th in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Swimmers Angelo, Scanlon, Tsizer and Emma Bowen touches the wall in 1:53.66 minutes.

Bangari captured fifth place in the 100-yard backstroke. Her time was 1:02.69 minutes.

Senior Bella Bowen finished 20th in the breaststroke in 1:23.87 minutes.

Framingham took 7th in the final event of the meet. Swimmers were Scanlon, Tsizer, Amy DiPasquale, and Bangari.
