WESTFIELD – The Framingham State University men’s cross country team was back in action Saturday morning and placed fifth at the 2022 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Championships hosted by Westfield State University.  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

  • The Rams placed fifth with 127 total points finished behind Worcester State who claimed the fourth spot with 92 points. 
  • Patrick Walsh led the way for the Rams finishing the race fifth. Walsh completed the 8K course with a time of 27:48.

  • Manny Miranda was the next Ram cross finishing with a time of 30:03, while PJ Pharmer was three places behind Miranda crossing at 30:22. 
  • Parker Winters and Cullen Lancaster followed for the Rams with times of 31:15 and 31:25. 
  • Josh Perrier and Bruno Barbosa rounded out the top seven for the Rams with Perrier finishing at 32:38 and Barbosa at 34:17.

The Rams are back in action on November 12th when they compete at the 2022 NCAA Regional hosted by Bowdoin College.
