SHERBORN – Mario C. D’Eramo, age 69, a longtime resident of Sherborn passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2022, with family at his side.
Born in Ginestra degli Schiavoni, in the region of Campania, Italy, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Olga (Secola) D’Eramo and was predeceased by two sons, Camillo D’Eramo and Vincenzo D’Eramo.
He graduated in the Class of 1972 from Dover-Sherborn High School.
Mario had been a truck driver, covering countless miles over more than 40 years for companies including APA Trucking, New Penn, and Corsair Logistics. He was a long-time member of the Teamsters Union Local 25.
For 20 plus years Mario loved seeing and conversing with all the locals while bartending at the American Legion Beckwith Post 110 in Medfield.
In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his home and playing golf.
Mario is survived by his children, a daughter, Ninamarie D’Eramo and her fiancé Scott Bayer of West Warwick RI, sons, Mario D’Eramo and Anthony D’Eramo both of Sherborn and their mother, Deborah (Poor) D’Eramo of Sherborn MA. He is also survived by his dear grandson, Peyton Bayer and his beloved siblings, Italo D’Eramo and his wife Kate and Loredana D’Eramo all of Framingham MA; nephews, Thomas Woodward, Joseph Woodward, Matthew Woodward, John D’Eramo and Kevin D’Eramo.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 9:30 to 10: 45 at St. Theresa Parish, 35 South Main St. (Rt. 27) Sherborn followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
Burial will take place at Pinehill Cemetery, Sherborn.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Norton Funeral Home, Framingham.
