FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High School varsity cheer squad won the Division 1 competition at the “Think Pink “ invitational in Billerica on Sunday, October 24

The team is coached by Sue Pereira and Brandy Chartier.

The Flyers were also named the overall grand champion, with the highest score in all divisions, said Coach Pereira.

Captains this season are Alyssa Brandolini, Ava Heitman, and Kaylani Santana

Other squad members are Julia Ottaviani, Kyra Busenburg, Ana Chaves, Camille Cordeiro, Natalia Gutierrez, Lily Mark, Amani Rivera, Lunah Semprum, Keira Wiltshire, Lauren Carnicelli, Ashley Cutler, and Mia Canney.

“We are so proud of these ladies and their performance for the first time out this season,” posted the coaches on social media.

Framingham won the Bay State Conference title in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2022.

The Flyers were the South regional Fall champions in 2017 and 2019.

Framingham was the Division 1 State Champions in 2019 and 2021.

Yesterday, junior varsity Flyers came in second in the JV division, said Coach Pereira.

JV coaches are Maureen Tolan and Caley Boylen.
