NEWTON – The Framingham High boys soccer team defeated Newton North on the road, and under the lights, 3-1.

The win gave the Flyers the Bay State League Carey division title.

“A great accomplishment for a great group of kids,” said Coach Jon Wood.

The Flyers fell behind early in the first half but did not waiver, said their coach.

Senior captain Jack Carney took a pass from junior forward Brendan Walker and scored on a breakaway to tie the score, said Coach Wood.
