FRAMINGHAM – Framingham senior Sam Burgess, running in his first cross-country race this season, won the 3.1 mile event in 16.28.24 minutes on Wednesday, October 19.
However, Natick defeated Framingham on senior day 20-43 at Farm Pond park.
Natick runners were second, third, fourth and fifth across the finish line, after Burgess.
Redhawks senior Ben Feldman took second place overall in 17.37 minutes. Junior Steve D’Alessandro was third in 17.43minutes.

Natick juniors Nicholas Bianchi and Sean Fleming were fourth and fifth across the finish line.
Framingham senior Andrew Hohenstein took 6th place overall in 17.55 minutes.
Natick Sophomore William Catching was 7th in 18.26 minutes, with Framingham sophomore Andrew Feinblatt 8th in 18.46 minutes.
Natick freshman Elijah Pereira was 9th overall in 19.02 minutes, with teammate Sam Feldman 10th across the the finish line in 19.03 minutes.
Framingham senior Micah Mayborn was 13th overall in 19.52 minutes.
