FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High School unified basketball travelled to Walpole today for a game against the Timberwolves.

Walpole won the game.

Framingham is now 0-3 this season.

A Unified Sports combines athletes with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team.

“It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding,” according to Special Olympics.

The Framingham unified basketball program is co-ed, and first began at Framingham High with the 2018-2019 season.

The Flyers final home game is Wednesday, October 26 at 3:45 p.m. against the Tigers of Newton North High
