FRAMINGHAM – Elaine Francis Henson, 87, of Deltona, Florida, passed away in her sleep on October 7, 2022.

Elaine was born on November 18, 1934 to Alvin and Pearl Cripps in Framingham, Massachusetts. After graduating from Framingham High School in 1952. She went on to study to be certified as a nurse’s aide at Daytona Beach Community College.

After graduation she worked in the U.S. State Department as a secretary to the ambassador to Nigeria. She then married Frank Delbert Henson and was mother to three children, Christine, Christopher and Paul. She later pursued work in the medical field until retirement.

She was a devoted member of the Deltona 7th Day Adventist Church. Among her interests were reading the bible, knitting and crocheting. She loved being surrounded by family. She dedicated her life to serving Jesus, her family and community.

Elaine was predeceased by her husband and three children. She is survived by her grandson, Tristan Thebault, and son in law, Gerald Thebault.

Arrangements are being made by Lankford Funeral home in Deland, Florida.
