FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham State University volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Salem State University Tuesday evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Logan Gymnasium.
Game scores were 25-18, 25-8, 25-14.
The Rams are now 13-9 overall and 3-1 in the Conference.
Salem State sinks to 4-11 overall.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
· The Rams pulled out a close first set 25-18 before storming out to a 13-4 lead in the second. The Rams took the second frame 25-8. Salem led early in the third, 7-5, but the Rams rallied taking a 16-11 lead and eventually taking the frame 25-14.
· The Rams were paced by eight kills and six digs from Anna Szymanski, while Hailey Sanders chipped in with seven kills and a pair of solo blocks.
· Kiana Jones added seven kills and four blocks, three solo, while Emily Flaherty finished the match with seven service aces and five digs.
· Malia Shields also recorded seven aces and added nine digs, while Stella Bailey finished with 16 assists and seven digs.

· The Vikings were led by four kills apiece from Charlotte Orth, Presley Shairs and Abigail O’Connor, while Eva Haralabatos chipped in 13 set assists.
· The Viking defense was led by eight digs from Haralabatos, while Kailey Roche finished the match with six.
The Rams are back in action Saturday afternoon when they host Fitchburg State and Mount Holyoke beginning at 1:30 p.m., while the Vikings host MCLA on Saturday at 1 p.m.
