FRAMINGHAM – A person paid for a puppy via an “app,” but the puppy was never delivered.

The incident was reported to Framingham Police on Sunday, October 9 at 6:56 p.m.

A man saw an ad on facebook for a company LLOEZ selling Yorkshire-Terrier mix puppies, said police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

The man messaged the seller through “whatsapp” and paid for the puppy through that app, said the police spokesperson

The individual paid $900 for the dog, said Lt. Mickens.

The puppy was supposed to be delivered on October 9, and it was never delivered, said Lt. Mickens.

The man tried to contact breeder/seller and has not received the answer

A suspect has not yet been identified said Framingham Police.

No other details were released at this time.
