FRAMINGHAM – in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Christa McAuliffe Charter school in Framingham hosted a Hispanic Heritage Pride Day, in which students and staff were treated to a feel lunch featuring food from Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala, El Salvador, etc.

The goal was to celebrating all the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking cultures represented at the regional public charter middle school.

The students curated the musical play list for the lunch, which was held outdoors.

Some of the students and staff served the food. Some of the food was donated by local businesses.

Students were encouraged to wear authentic clothing representing their heritage, sports jerseys representing a team or favorite Latino player, or clothing in the colors of their flag to school on Thursday, October 6.
