“For the boys, they were a bit touched by injury and missing the soon-to return Sam Burgess. The compression and improvement from runners 2-5 was still overcome by Walpole’s tight squad up front,” said head coach Ed Crowley.

Framingham junior Ben Habeski was 7th overall in 19.04 minutes edging out Walpole senior Ryan Falvey at 19:05 minutes and Timberwolves runner Jonathan Rodrigues in 19.06 minutes.

Framingham junior Derrick Yancey Jr. was third across the runner for Framingham across the finish line in 19:22 minutes.

Sophomore Andrew Feinblatt was fourth for the Flyers with senior Micah Mayborn fifth for the Flyers.

Coach Crowley said the team needs some rest and more training in preparing for a dual meet against Milton as well as the Twilight invitational at the Barnstable fairgrounds.
