FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham State University volleyball team was defeated 3-0 by Regis College Thursday evening in non-conference action at Logan Gymnasium in Framingham.

  Regis 3, Framingham State 0 (25-10, 25-9, 26-24) 

  Framingham State Rams drop to 11-8 overall.

Regis Pride improves to 11-9 overall.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

The Pride took the first two sets 25-10 and 25-9 before holding off the Rams 26-24 in the final set to secure the non-conference victory. 

The Pride were led in the match by 11 kills and two aces from Rita Dow, while Ahnasia Mckinney chipped in with 10 kills, 21 set assists and six digs. 

Kate Montigny finished the match with nine kills, two digs and three blocks, while Kaitlyn Miller finished with 13 set assists and 12 defensive digs.

The Rams were led in the match by eight kills from Hailey Sanders, while Anna Szymanski finished with five and eight digs. 

Stella Bailey chipped in with 10 set assists and two digs, while Isabel Henwood added six assists and seven digs.  

 

The Rams are back in action Saturday when they travel to Eastern Connecticut for a tri-match beginning at 11 a.m., while the Pride travel to Lasell for a tri-match on Saturday also at 11 a.m.
