FRAMINGHAM – October has started out cold & crisp weather-wise.
For Framingham Public School students, they will have more days off in the first 10 days, as days in class.
In the first 10 days, Framingham Public School students only have class on October 3, 4, and 6.
The weekend takes up four of those 10 days, but there are also 3 additional days off for students.

First Yom Kippur, one of the holiest days of the Jewish calendar begins at sundown on Tuesday, October 4.
There is no school on October 5, due to the Jewish holiday.
Friday, is a professional development day for teachers and staff, so no school for students – elementary, middle, and high.
Monday is Indigenous People’s Day/Columbus Day holiday, so no school due to the federal holiday.
Students, return to class on Tuesday, September 11.
