SUDBURY – The Sudbury Foundation this week announced it has awarded $152,220 to 25 local nonprofits.
In addition to awarding 23 Racial Equity & Inclusion Grants totaling $112,220, the Foundation also awarded two Sudbury Program grants totaling $40,000.
“Over the past three years, the Sudbury Foundation has granted $300,000 to local nonprofits through our Racial Equity & Inclusion grant program. We are proud to continue providing these grants to a variety of local nonprofits to assist them in their equity work both within their organizations and throughout their communities,” said Sudbury Foundation Executive Director Sonia Shah.
Sudbury Extended Day, Inc.: $25,000, To hire a consultant for capacity/continuity planning.
Sudbury Valley Trustees: $15,000, To upgrade their financial system.

The Sudbury Foundation is a private foundation working to transform lives and strengthen communities through grant making and scholarship programs in Sudbury, and surrounding communities. In 2021, the Foundation distributed $1.6 million in grants and scholarships to students and organizations in Sudbury, to organizations in communities surrounding Sudbury focused on Children, Youth and Families, and to organizations throughout the state of MA engaged in Farm and Local Food initiatives.
