WELLESLEY – The Framingham High girls cross-country team travelled to Morse’s Pond in Wellesley on Wednesday for a try meet against Wellesley High and Weymouth High.

The Flyers lost both contests.

Wellesley’s Raiders won 17 to 46.

Weymouth Wildcats won 47 to 74.

The Flyers are still seeking their first win of the season, and are 0-6 this season, under head coach Ed Crowley.

Wellesley had the top three finishers overall.

Wellesley freshman Abby Beggans won the race in 19.40 minutes.

Wellesley freshman Emma Tuxbury finished second overall in 19:41 minutes.

Wellesley senior Grace Wheelan was third in 19:48 minutes.

Framingham freshman Sasha Lamakina was fourth overall in 19.55 minutes.

Framingham senior captain Chloe Mills was the second Flyer to cross the finish line. She finished 19th overall in 22.36 minutes.

Framingham sophomore Liesel Krohne was third overall for the Flyers. She finished 22nd overall in 23:55 minutes.

The Flyers are scheduled to compete in the Manchester Invitational in New Hampshire on Saturday, September 24.

The Flyers will host the Timberwolves of Walpole High at Farm Pond on Thursday, October 6.
