FRAMINGHAM – Priscila Sousa, Chair of the Framingham School Committee and State Representative-Elect of the 6th Middlesex District, will be the featured speaker at the September meeting of the Framingham Business Association. 

The meeting is Wednesday, September 14 at noon at La Cantina Italiana at 911 Waverly Street. A light lunch is served during the meeting. Framingham small business owners are welcome to attend.

Priscila Sousa won the recent Democratic Primary Election for State Representative on September 6.

Sousa was elected to the Framingham School Committee in 2019, and re-elected in 2021. She became the first woman of color elected as Chair.

As a small business owner, she ran a business in Downtown Framingham. Today, she works in the solar industry.

The Framingham Business Association was created to promote and protect the value, importance and significance of a thriving business community in the City of Framingham, and to ensure that local businesses’ needs are being considered, understood and supported by the residents and government officials.
