HUDSON/MARLBOROUGH – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that the on-ramps from Route 290 eastbound to Route 495 northbound and the Route 85 Connector will be closed nightly on Monday, September 12, Tuesday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 14, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

These temporary overnight traffic impacts are necessary to allow crews and contractors to conduct bridge repair operations safely and effectively.

During the overnight work, traffic that is seeking to access Route 495 northbound or the Route 85 Connector will be directed to utilize Route 495 southbound to Exit 63A (Route 20 eastbound). 

Drivers who are traveling through these areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change.
