FITCHBURG – The Framingham State University cross-country team opened the season yesterday, September 3, finishing in third place at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State University.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The Rams finished the day in third place behind winner UMass Dartmouth and second place finisher Fitchburg State.
- Leading the way for the Rams was Parker Winters who completed the 8K course in a time of 32:09 which was good enough to place 15th.
- Following Winters was Josh Perrier and PJ Pharmer who crossed the line back-to-back at 32:39 and 32:42.
- Manny Miranda was next to finish for the Rams at 34:29, while Bruno Barbosa followed at 39:40.
- Rounding out the field for the Rams were Will Jokic and Jordan Porter at 41:22 and 42:41. .
The Rams are back in action on September 17, when they travel to UMass Dartmouth for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational
