There are seven seniors on varsity including the team’s three captains Ali Jones, Summer Haarala, and Lilly Vermilya.

“Our three captains have been on the team for 4 years.  They have been exemplary leaders and led all current and incoming freshmen throughout the summer to prepare for what we hope to be an amazing season,” said the head coach.

“Ali Jones is an anchor in our backline and brings experience to the defensive unit,” said Coach DeFusco.

“Summer Haarala has been an offensive threat in the league and continues to amaze me with her relentless work ethic during the season and throughout the off season,” said the head coach.

“Lilly Vermilya is an outstanding goalkeeper recognized throughout the league.  She will play a big role in keeping the team together and running a strong defensive unit,” said Coach DeFusco.

“The girls have come into this season prepared and motivated.  The leadership of captains and returning players has set us up to start strong and united.  The coaches are so proud of the hard work they have put into their preseason and look forward to the competitive season we have ahead,” said the head coach.
