ASHLAND – Ann Page Freeman, 94, of Ashland, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2022 after a brief illness.

Growing up in Scituate, she graduated from Sargent College in Boston with a degree in Physical Education.

Sports was a big passion in her life – starting with sailing and swimming, then golf and tennis – and she excelled in them all.

Ann married her loving husband Franklin “Fritz” Freeman from Marshfield.

He also loved sports especially baseball “Red Sox”.

Ann was a loving, outgoing Mom and devoted Wife with a strong spiritual faith. Ann and Fritz raised four children in Newtown, CT – Sara Fontaine, Gail Elias, Betsy Bennett, and Woody Freeman. They had seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Ann had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Newtown, and beyond. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
