2. Framingham Fire helped Natick extinguish a large brush fire near the Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary last night. Crews were on scene for 4 hours.

3. Yesterday, Framingham Fire promoted James JC Madden to lieutenant. A swearing-in ceremony was held at the Memorial Building with City Clerk Lisa Ferguson.

4. Last night, for the first time since Framingham became a City, a woman chaired the legislative branch of government. Vice Chair Janet Leombruno chaired the City Council meeting.

There are no City of Framingham meetings today.

5. Framingham FORCE will be placing flags on the Framingham Centre Common today at 3 p.m.
