FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Fire Department sworn in five new firefighters today, August 15.

All the new hires are all are military veterans and scored highly on the civil service exam, said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

Two are Framingham High graduates and one is a Keefe Technical graduate, said the fire chief.

The five new firefighters received the oath of office from City Clerk Lisa Ferguson and were congratulated by Mayor Charlie Sisistky.

The new firefighters are:

  • Brandon Moore
  • Jack Seta, a Framingham High graduate
  • Jonathan LaPierre, a Framingham High graduate
  • Eduardo Archilla-Cataneda
  • Pablo Castillo, a Keefe Technical graduate

Moore and Castillo have background in public safety, each having served in other communities, said Chief Dutcher.

Moore was a police officer and Castillo was a firefighter. 

Seta, LaPierre and Archilla-Castaneda are new to Public Safety and are eager to start their careers in service to our community, said Dutcher.
